Love you Nan! I know that juggling is hard and it probably feels like you are running as fast as you can AND juggling many things. But as you say, it is really exciting too and I am here to see what is next!

Dear Nan, it’s been thrilling to watch you fly. Now the time is right to perch on a high branch and take in the view. I wonder where you’ll go next but am not in any hurry to find out. Somewhere good, for sure. Thank you for your honesty. You’re making Substack warmer and better in every way.

I love everything about this, and I love you, Nan. I’m so glad and grateful that your story has found this path, and that it crossed with mine. You ARE so many things - writer, artist, performer, community builder, and excellent friend. I feel lucky to know you in all your different ways of being in the world. Thank you for stepping up to the mic, and inviting so many others to join you there. 💜✨

I love you, too, Jamie. Substack can be whatever we want it to be, and the thing that keeps me here, on the platform, isn't just the creative expression, it's the community of people I've been a part of and that I'm free to grow. The people here are the GOLD. I've never been so happy in all my life. I feel like I have a family here. One that was made by all of us. ALL of us. You're a huge part of that. One of these days, lets pick a meeting point midway-ish and get and give some real-life hugs. xo

I do miss your weekly Next Write Thing. I always felt like I was right there in your home, listening to you tell a story. And next month I WILL be there. In your home! Meeting your adorable dogs in person and listening to you tell a story. And likely sharing a few of my own because you draw them out of people.

That's why I love Wham Bam. Thank you for all the work you do, Nan Tepper.

You’re doing important work, Nan! Thank you for your courage to ACT. It’s something I admire and hope to emulate in the writing space. I’m getting there. Peace.

Yes! Take a break-ish! August is a great time to do that. You have been doing SO much, and this will help prevent you from burning out. Ask me how I know. xo
