Love this!! Love thinking of young you with your ERA pin and tighty whities!

Thanks, Holly! The 70s were wild. I loved the ERA, and had very strong feelings about Phyllis Schlafly. It was beyond me that anyone would want to keep women down, especially another woman! Oh, those tighty-whities! My brother loved the story when he read it. He never knew! But he did ask me why I didn't just throw them away after using them as a sponge...

I mean, he had a valid question. 🤣 Oh, Phyllis. What a true sadness.

It's true. It was valid. It was the heat of the moment. I panicked! And yes. Phyllis. Nightmare stuff.

Thank you, Michelle! I'm working on recording all of my stories, and will be launching a podcast. The podcast will be paid, but each recording will also be available in each post. I don't paywall my writing.

Congratulations on the story slam performance. That’s great! Love the collection of buttons. Your writing is painting a picture of you as a very precocious child! So fun to peek into these moments as you look back on them.

Thanks, Amy! I wanted to be a grown up when I was a child...and maybe in some ways I was. Glad you enjoyed. xoxo

NAN!!! This is so good!! Congratulations on winning ❤️❤️❤️ Also, I wear boy shorts undies!! They are the most comfortable minus the hole in front 🤣🤣🤣 Xoxo

Thanks, Mesa! I love it when people fess up about their underwear! I have couple pair of boy shorts undies, too, and they are far more comfy. I reserve their use for dress wearing days...It feels a little too risky for me to go commando! xoxo to you, too!

Loved this. Although commando ceased being an option post-menopause. 😘

I'm with you on that.

I prefer to not give it too much attention, at present. Am I in denial? Possibly.

I'm still in commando mode and I am well past post! But I do have to do extra laundry now and then. Sneezing, and waiting 'til the last minute are usually the culprits. xoxo

So funny! Many years ago, I went into my year to find my young son (who we didn't yet know was trans) standing in line with his dad and brother--all peeing al fresco. I guess if you're going to do standing-to-pee experiments without the special attachment, it helps to do it outdoors!
