Wow. What a poignantly feel-good story. So glad you and Linda found each other. So glad you like semicolons.

Thanks, Eileen. I'm glad we found each other, too. We didn't stay together, but it was a wonderful experience for as long it lasted. She really was the person who supported and encouraged me to start to take writing seriously. A huge gift to me.

I loved this. The photo pairs beautifully with the piece. It is joyous and real and sounds like it does have a happy ending. I also love the term "indoorsy". Way to go.

I love this piece so much. It’s beautifully layered. It’s fascinating to read about this process…. To think about making that “list” and then how things lined up. I laughed at the “indoorsy” section. The photo is wonderful, and I know I commented on the semicolons back when I first saw your “about” page - though I didn’t put it together. What a powerful step and reminder. That she has a typewriter tattoo… perfect!

Hi Nan, I love this wonderful funny lovestory, made me laugh and brought tears to my eyes. Love the tattoo story either, your unique way to celebrate recovery and honor the path to it. Thank you.

I LOVE this story so much! Even more with the tweaks you've made. I'm so glad you were/are courageous, and so happy for you both! (And Franco's photo is stunning. My favorite.) The ending made me LOL.
